 Am 27. Mai 2011 fand die Einweihungsfeier für das neue b&o Betriebsgebäudes im Siemens Technopark Berlin statt.
Mit 230 Gästen wurde das Gebäude mit 1.800 qm Büro- und 2.100 qm Hallenfläche feierlich eingeweiht.

Test cell for vane piston |
|
 For the measurement of vane piston of a vane pump, a test cell was created with a capacity of up to 3 million parts per year. The cycle time is thus less than 5 seconds.
The parts are taken out by a robot automatically of charge carriers and fed to the test. A measuring pin is used for determining the internal diameter and a 2-point measurement for height determination.
After the test the parts are marked and stacked in the extraction carrier.

Production line for capsules for the treatment of thyroid diseases |
|
 In hot cells, the patient-capsules are almost automatically filled with a radioactive substance, controlled and packed. The duties of employees are limited to filling the system with the necessary materials and the final visual check of the capsules.
The system was validated according to the latest GMP standards and qualified.
The challenges in this project were the tight space, taking into account the radiation environment.
